Programme of Academic Guidance
It provides specific support for undergraduates in their freshman year that helps them to successfully complete their first year at University. An undergraduate from higher years in each degree course is responsible for a small group of first-year students. By means of remedial classes and personal guidance they help them to successfully negotiate their first year at university.
Several University Lecturers, coordinated by the Director of Studies at Bidealde (the lecturer Ignacio García-Alonso, from the UPV/EHU), monitor and supplement the help provided by the student tutors.
Study Rooms
Bidealde has two spacious study rooms and various rooms for group work that are available to residents as well as to affiliate members.
Engineering Induction Course
It provides a comprehensive understanding of the overall degree course as well as of the first-year subjects. It is held during the week prior to the beginning of classes. It combines sessions on study techniques, talks involving Teaching Staff and seminars with students from higher years
