What is Free Choice Credits?
The current regulation of higher education in Spain specifies a number of credits to be passed in each Degree Course. Amongst these, it stipulates that 10% should correspond to subjects that are not related to the actual Degree Course itself, to be chosen freely by each student.
These subjects may be taken from other Degree Courses, subjects exclusively designed for free choice or activities of a varying nature that the University acknowledges and endorses as free choice credits.

What does Bidealde offer?
Article 65.13 of the Management Regulations for the 1st and 2nd Cycles of Higher Education Studies at the UPV/EHU governs the redemption of free choice credits through the attendance of courses, seminars, conferences and congresses for students of the UPV/EHU. The Halls of Residence feature amongst those entities whose courses are recognised accordingly.
This means that by participating in activities organised by Bidealde, besides improving your professional and social training, you can fulfil part of the academic requirements laid down for obtaining the Degree you are studying for.
