Film seasons

Several cine-forum seasons are organised throughout the course. Based on a common theme, the titles are chosen and an expert is appointed to chair the subsequent discussion.

The screening of films in English is also arranged in order to provide language practice as well as to have a good time.

Discussions on politics, econ-omics, culture and current affairs

Arranged and organised by a group of residents, this Series of three discussions held in the common room in Bidealde is attended by a significant number of university lecturers and figures from the cultural, political, sporting and civil spheres. Regular attendance at these discussions provides an extensive cultural baggage and a thorough knowledge of today's world, as befits university life.

Visits to companies and institutions

It often happens that the presence of some of the speakers in our discussions is followed by a visit by residents and members to the firm or institution said person works in: major civil engineering or infrastructure projects, Representative Associations, and a long etcetera.

Sessions on European Studies

On a biannual basis, a season of round-tables are organised focusing on issues involved in the construction of Europe. The 24th sessions have been held in 2004.
