Volunteers from Bidealde paint the flats of financially disadvantaged families in Bilbao. They also seek the collaboration of firms that provide all the materials to be used, as well as the technical training of the volunteers.

A smile for Christmas

Residents and members organise a campaign for the collection of toys. For several days they set themselves up in the Gran Vía of Bilbao, encouraging passers-by to donate their used toys so as to subsequently take them to different institutions and homes that provide shelter for children. This operation is organised to coincide with Christmas in order to make it more emotive..

Community service studying

During the month of May, the residents of Bidealde take part in a scheme that takes place simultaneously in several Autonomous Communities. Numerous companies and institutions sponsor hours of study. As a result, the effort involved in long hours dedicated to studying is rewarded with the building of schools in the developing world.

Visiting ...

After an afternoon of studying, dedicating a few minutes to giving the elderly and lonely some company is a very enriching experience. A group of residents locates the recipients of the aid and coordinates the visits paid to them.
